The seventh annual WHRO Strolling Supper Party, showcasing Coastal Virginia Magazine’s Platinum Plate Award winners takes place Feb. 28 at the Renaissance Portsmouth-Norfolk Waterfront Hotel.
The event includes a food-themed silent auction, live entertainment and samples from some of Coastal Virginia’s best restaurants as selected by CoVa food editor Patrick Evans-Hylton and his panel of Platinum Plate critics.
Look for PBS cooking star, Julie Taboulie of “Cooking with Julie Taboulie.” Taboulie explores the world of Lebanese and Middle Eastern cuisines in her television show.
Advance tickets are $50 or $65 at the door. All proceeds benefit WHRO, public media in Hampton Roads.
The Renaissance Portsmouth-Norfolk Waterfront Hotel is at 425 Water St. in Portsmouth.
